How to Create an Intramural Sports Team on IMLeagues

Hey Huskies! Ready to lead your own intramural team at Northeastern? Here’s how to create your very own team on IMLeagues!

Step #1: Visit imleagues.com/northeastern and log in using your Northeastern account.

Step #2: Find the sport you want to play — whether it’s soccer, basketball, volleyball, or more — and click on it.

Step #3: Choose the league and division that fits your schedule and competition level.

Step #4: Click the ‘Create Team’ button in the top right of the page — this will open the Manager’s PowerPoint and quiz.

Step #5: Review the PowerPoint, pass the quiz, and make sure to read all of the important participant information that follows.

Step #6: Enter your team’s name, NU ID, select a team logo, and toggle any other optional settings that you wish to have on below.

Step #7: Click the ‘Create Team’ button and you will be redirected to the Forfeit Deposit payment screen. If your team does not forfeit a game this semester, the complete $20 will be refunded at the conclusion of the Intramural Season.

Step #8: After finalizing the payment, you will be redirected back to IMLeagues where you can select times of the week your team will be unavailable. Please note that each sport will require a minimum number of available times a week for teams to be scheduled.

Step #9: Invite your teammates by email or IMLeagues username. Don’t forget — all players must accept the invite before the roster deadline!
