Ask The Trainer
University Recreation’s nationally certified personal trainers are student employees located on our Boston campus. Our new “Ask The Trainer” series will allow Northeastern students across our campuses around the world to access their expertise!
Students can use this form or direct message our Instagram account (@NortheasternRec) to ask questions they may have about workout routines, correct form while working out, nutrition and hydration, and more!
Starting in December, be on the lookout on Instragram for our trainer’s responses!
Global Recreation Cornhole League
Hey Huskies! Check out our new Northeastern Global Cornhole league, starting this fall! This is a Cornhole league between all of our campuses in the US, Canada, and England! Branded cornhole boards have been delivered to all global campuses. Registration is now open on IMLeagues and it is FREE to play!
Individuals or teams of 2 will be able to sign up and be slotted to play against other individuals or teams on your home campus. Participants will be given a 4-week window during which you should play your games on your own time and then report the scores back via IMLeagues. Campus winners will be determined based on record. University-wide winners will be determined based on average strength of victory score (Victory score = # of points game is won by / number of games played).
University Recreation branded Under Armour prizes will be sent to campus winners, with a larger prize for the overall university-wide winner!

Global Cornhole Trick Shot Competition
Calling all Global Huskies! Get ready for our Global Cornhole Trick Shot Challenge! YOU have the chance to win some sweet University Recreation swag!
To register, create an Instagram Story showing us your best trick shot of you getting the bean bag in the cornhole and post it to Instagram using the #NUGlobalRec hashtag and tagging @NortheasternRec. From there, our followers will vote for their favorite submissions all the way through our Global Recreation Trick Shot Bracket, with prizes for campus winners and a grand prize for the overall bracket winner! Stay safe when taking your shots and do not move the boards out of their original locations.
This contest is open to students on ALL Northeastern campuses – boards can be found on the Arlington, Boston, Charlotte, London, Miami, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Toronto, and Vancouver campuses! Find the location of the boards on your campus here.
