University Recreation is proud to honor the many contributions and accomplishments of our student employees. Our Recreation Facilities and Programs could not function without a team of over 400 students working in every aspect of the department – building supervisors, facility assistants, fitness consultants, group fitness instructors, personal trainers, intramural staff, marketing staff, instructional staff, and business operations.
THE PROGRAM. The Student Employee of the Month program looks to recognizes those students who go above and beyond the duties of the job. Outstanding students are nominated by their peers and by professional staff members each month. An Employee of the Month (EOTM) is voted upon for three department areas, facilities, fitness, and intramural sports. The EOTM is awarded a signature item, recognized with publicity on TV screens within the Marino Recreation Center and on the University Recreation website.
