Student Employees of the Month

Group Fitness Instructor, Caroline, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Fitness program area! Her coworkers described her as an incredible instructor who engages her participants and keeps people coming back every week. She has also gone above and beyond to grow the program this year and has acted as a mentor for many of the new instructors; she makes them feel comfortable and confident along the way.

Marino Center Fitness Consultant, Ashley, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Fitness Floor area! Her coworkers describe her as being “on it, all the time”. This past semester Ashley joined the Recruitment & Development committee and has been very communicative with the group as a whole as well as many of the new employees she has been mentoring. Her hard work deserves to be recognized.

Building Supervisor, Ayush, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Facilities program area! His coworkers described him as hardworking, reliable and a great overall employee. This is well-deserving for Ayush who is a recently promoted Building Supervisor.

Graphic Designer, Victoria, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Specialty program area! Her coworkers describe her as being one of the most hardworking employees who is consistently kind and welcoming to everyone she works with. She never fails to put a smile on the faces of the people around her.

Intramural Sports Official, Claudia, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Intramural Sports program area! Over the past semester they have really stepped up and handled both important and challenging shifts, which is greatly appreciated and well-deserved of recognition.

Global Recreation Brand Ambassador, Steffi, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Specialty program area! Steffi has done a great job planning events and activities for the Seattle campus, including a hike through one of the city’s nature preserves, an afternoon bowling event, a group fitness class, and a pickleball tournament, all without having real recreation facilities on the campus! She is also a member of the Recruitment and Development Committee and has assisted her colleagues with creating a mentorship program for new staff!

Facility Assistant Lead, Amit, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Facilities program area! Amit has done a fantastic job this month as Facility Assistant Lead. He always makes sure that everything inside Marino runs smoothly and with a smile on his face. He is also great at making everyone who comes into the Marino Center feel they are coming into his home. Amit loves working at Marino, and we love that Amit works here. Keep up the good work and congratulations

Marino Center Fitness Consultant, Nikolaos, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Fitness Floor area! His colleagues said that he is always friendly, happy to help and assists his coworkers with whatever may be needed. Nikolaos is a very passionate and hardworking Fitness Consultant at the Marino Center. He is always ready to answer questions, support other team members, and be a friendly face to the University Recreation participants.

Yoga Instructor, Deepta, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Fitness program area! Deepta truly embodies the essence of a Yoga instructor. She has a remarkable ability to introduce creative and engaging methods that deepen her students’ understanding of yoga. During her time away earlier this semester, many students eagerly asked about her return, reflecting the positive impact she has had on them. Deepta has also inspired several students to pursue their own paths as yoga instructors. While we will certainly miss her after graduation, she has been an absolute joy and a valued member of University Recreation.

Intramural Sports Official, Austin, has earned the title of Employee of the Month for the Intramural Sports program area! When there was a need for extra help in the middle of the semester, Austin stepped up and really helped the program out by learning a new sport. His hard work and dedication is very much appreciated.
