Starting Monday, May 8, 2023 , the following facilities are available

The Marino Recreation Center will be under renovations and will be closed from May 8 through the end of Summer I, with a full reopening slated for the start of the Fall semester following all major renovations.

During the closure period, additional recreation offerings will be available on campus through:

• Extended hours at SquashBusters Center
• Expansion of offerings in the Functional Training Space adjacent to SquashBusters
• Opportunities for programming in Solomon Court at the Cabot Center, the Cabot Center Varsity Weight Room, and the YMCA of Greater Boston on Huntington Avenue

The renovation of Marino Recreation Center will include several updates to the building which will greatly enhance the recreation experience for the entire campus community, including:

• All Gender locker room
• Basketball court replacement
• Upgrades to the weight room free-weight equipment
• Upgrades and maintenance throughout the facility

May 2023 graduate:

If you are a full time undergraduate student, full time graduate student, or law student and graduating in May 2023, you will have access to the University Recreation Facilities, at NO COST, until August 31, 2023 once you complete an Alumni Membership Application Form.

Your current gym access should remain valid until graduation.

Application form will be active starting Monday, May 8, 2023.

Your Northeastern University Husky ID Card must be a current, valid, and active card that needs to be “tapped” upon arrival in order to enter all facilities and to participate in any in-person sponsored activities. Admittance will be denied to anyone without a current, valid NU Husky ID Card. Mobile ID is not accepted.
